Kubu Indah Dive & Spa Resort

Kubu Indah Dive & Spa Resort has 18 rooms, each with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, a safety deposit box, hot and cold running water, and a minibar.

15 Beach and Garden Bungalows are nestled in the beautiful gardens, which enjoy a partial view of the sea. Each has its own terrace and measures 31sqm. The Bungalows are built of high-quality materials in a modern Balinese style, and are furnished harmoniously, with a thatched ‘Alang Alang’ roof. These offer twin-bed or double bed options.

3 Garden Villas are located right next to the resort. The Villas are spacious with 130sqm area, and the added benefit of a daily housekeeping service. Built in a modern style, the Villas have two separate air conditioned bedrooms – one with a double bed, one with twin or double -with private bathroom, a large living/dining room, functional kitchen, large terrace, and a 4m x 8m swimming pool. The private garden offers plenty of space to relax and a day-bed from which to enjoy stunning volcano views. The Villas are ideal for families.

Kubu Indah is a PADI 5 Star Resort owned and operated by divers for divers. The dive centre is located in the middle of the resort so you never have to go far for your next dive adventure to begin. With its own House Reef, Kubu Indah offers dives straight from the shore, without the need for a boat or car ride, offering a wealth of critters and ample opportunities for macro photographers.

This is a full-service centre, with a complete range of PADI courses and high quality rental equipment available. The centre offers a training pool and onsite classroom which also makes it a great place to learn to dive. There’s also an equipment store for clients’ own equipment and the dive centre staff rinse your gear for you each day, leaving you more time to relax after diving. Night dives can be enjoyed on the House Reef.

Kubu Indah offers up to four guided dives per day. There are many sites within just fifteen minutes drive of the resort, most of which can be accessed directly from the shore, with tours focusing on the main areas of Tulamben, Amed and Kubu.

The resort offers over 20 dives sites close by, where you can enjoy the abundance and diversity of this part of the Coral Triangle.

Top of the list to dive is the world famous Liberty Wreck, an American troop carrier which sank in WWII and is lying in just 9-30m of water. This is an absolute must-see in Bali, with the entire range of tropical reef fish, big schools of fish and many hard and soft corals easily seen – a paradise for divers, macro photographers, and snorkelers alike.

Day trips can be organised to visit Nusa Penida. This island is just off the southeast corner of Bali and boasts a multitude of gorgeous dive sites, with the chance for a lot of great sightings, including Mola Mola, silver-tip sharks, turtles, and a vast array of tropical reef fish. The famous Manta Point is also located here, and Manta spotting is pretty much guaranteed all year long.
