This is an exceptional chance to combine diving and snorkelling at some of the best Red Sea sites while learning about underwater photography technique from renowned Photo Pro Saeed Rashid.
Living just a stone’s throw from the sea on England’s South Coast, Saeed has always had a passion for the ocean. That passion is evident in Saeed’s workshops as he helps you to understand how to create and craft better photographs. As well as being an award-winning and well-published photographer, Saeed is also a university lecturer and has been teaching for over 20 years. His style is fun but informative. Each workshop is unique, but the pace is always easy and relaxed. Learn new skills at your own speed whilst enjoying a fantastic all-round diving and snorkelling holiday at the best time of the year in Egypt’s Red Sea.

The Best of the Red Sea
Hosted aboard purpose-built boutique liveaboard Emperor Skye, this special trip sails out of Marsa Alam and visits some of the best Red Sea sites for exceptional diving and snorkelling.
The itinerary has been designed to showcase the main highlights of this area including the world-famous Elphinstone Reef – renowned for its stunning sheer walls and shark action – as well as a full day spent at Dolphin House to maximise your chance to spend time in the water with Spinner Dolphins. Enjoy magical turtle and dugong encounters, exploring everything from plentiful coral gardens and seagrass meadows to pretty ergs, colourful pinnacles and beautiful bays.
The diving is taken at a relaxed pace with an open deck policy on several days, allowing you to dive or snorkel with your buddy at your own pace. You will spend more time moored at each location and less time travelling between dive sites; perfectly designed for divers who like to take things easy, photo enthusiasts looking for more time to polish that photo opportunity and to soak up the sunshine and scenery above and below the water.

Spinner Dolphins are so-called because of their amazing acrobatic abilities. The offshore reef marine protected area of Sha’ab Samadi and the Sha’ab Sataya reef system are two of the best places to encounter large pods of Spinner Dolphins in the Red Sea.
Exclusive Small Group Trip
As one of just 8 guests on this exclusive private charter aboard Emperor Skye, you will benefit from individual and small group tuition. Saeed takes an open classroom approach with daily talks as well as 1:1 sessions, which will help you fine tune and refine your own photography style.
Content covered includes how to get the best from wide angle, improving lighting and getting mucky with macro. Post-processing is also a large part of underwater photography and with easy to follow steps, Saeed will help to dispel some of the myths around this apparent ‘dark art’ and show you that it’s easy once you know how.

Day 3 – Sha’ab Samadai (Dolphin House) AM & PM dives and snorkelling

- Return flights from Gatwick to Hurghada with easyJet including 23kgs baggage included – extra baggage is available at an extra charge
- 7 nights onboard Emperor Skye in twin bed cabin with full board & soft drinks
