Diving in the Puerto Aventuras area is excellent year-round and particularly appreciated because of the abundant marine life, very good visibility and the unique possibility of diving the cenotes, a phenomenon unique to the Mayan people. Scuba diving in the cenotes requires no special training, you just need good buoyancy control.
Transfers take approx. 60 minutes from the airport
Non-divers are also well catered for in Puerto Aventuras, with its white sand beaches and the Mayan ruins and Eco-tours just minutes away.
