Food, Beverage & Entertainment Facilities: The resort’s open-air restaurant is just a few steps from the turquoise waters of the Red Sea, offering guests the perfect setting to enjoy a stunning sunset while dining. Light refreshments and snacks are available throughout the day. Most guests opt for Half Board, which includes a buffet breakfast and a varied dinner menu with fresh seafood, Mediterranean-inspired dishes, and traditional Egyptian specialties. All Inclusive is also available. Guests can also enjoy a glass of wine, a cold draft beer, or a refreshing cocktail at the resort bar, with panoramic views over the Red Sea. Special dietary preferences and requirements can be catered for with prior notice.

The resort provides a range of activities besides diving and snorkelling, including a gym, aqua gym, yoga sessions, bird watching, walking, cycling, and beach buggy rides. Transfers: The resort is a 40-minute drive from Marsa Alam airport, and around a 3-to-3.5-hour drive from Hurghada airport. Return airport transfers are always included in our packages.

Ducks Diving Queseir is onsite at Rohanou Beach Resort and Ecolodge, conveniently located beside the resort’s stunning and easily accessible house reef, offering huge rewards for snorkellers and divers. Boat diving is also available. Ducks Diving is PADI affiliated and offers a full range of courses from beginner to Divemaster, as well as various specialty courses.

The dive centre offers divers and snorkellers direct access to the resort’s vibrant house reef and organises daily boat trips to nearby dive sites. The dive centre is known for its professional and welcoming atmosphere, catering to divers of all levels. They have a multilingual team and a commitment to safety and comfort.

House Reef Diving
The resort’s vibrant house reef lies just steps from the beach, making it one of the most accessible diving spots on the Red Sea. Nitrox is offered for free if qualified and there is a purpose-built jetty / footbridge and a wave-protected entrance and exit, making access to the house reef effortless. Flexible dive times for house reef and zodiac dives offer valuable freedom for guests to dive independently in buddy pairs. This puts divers in control of their schedule and experience.

Divers and snorkellers can explore gently sloping coral gardens teeming with life, including schools of colourful reef fish including parrotfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, moray eels and the occasional octopus. The reef’s dramatic walls, coral pinnacles, and sandy patches provide excellent opportunities for divers to enjoy a varied underwater landscape without leaving the resort. Visibility is typically excellent, often reaching 20–30 metres, allowing for superb underwater photography and unforgettable encounters with Red Sea marine life.

Night dives are also available with a dive guide or in a buddy pair.

Boat Diving
For those seeking more adventure, the dive centre offers daily boat trips to some of the Red Sea’s most famous dive sites near Quseir, with dramatic drop-offs, expansive coral gardens, and intriguing wrecks. Divers can encounter large pelagics such as barracudas, trevally, and occasionally reef sharks, with a colourful soup of smaller reef dwellers including clownfish, anthias, and colourful nudibranchs. Wreck sites, some dating back decades, provide hauntingly beautiful landscapes to explore, with encrusted corals and hidden marine life.

The area offers some fantastic Red Sea dive sites just a short ride from the resort including Abu Galawa Soraya, Elphinstone Reef, Sha’ab Samadai (Dolphin Reef), and Fanadir Reef.

These boat-accessible sites provide a range of experiences, from gentle drift dives suitable for intermediates to more challenging dives for experienced divers, showcasing the incredible biodiversity and clear waters of the southern Red Sea. All boat dives are guided by experienced instructors.

Dive centre facilities
The dive centre is well-equipped to provide a comfortable and professional diving experience. They have a fully equipped gear rental shop including tanks, regulators, wetsuits, BCDs, fins, masks, and snorkels. There are spacious rinse tanks for gear, freshwater showers, and a dedicated equipment storage area for guests to keep everything organised, dry and safe.

The dive centre also has classrooms for theory lessons, a comfortable briefing area for pre-dive instructions, and multilingual, professional instructors to guide both beginners and advanced divers. The dive boats are well-maintained with easy water entry, safety equipment, and ample space for divers.
