Hotel Services/Facilities: The resort is home to Pharoah Dive Club and the fabulous house reef of Abu Sauatir. The resort boasts private beach with free sun loungers, umbrellas, toilets and fresh water showers and swimming pool with pool bar. It is possible to use the wireless internet Wi-Fi on site, which comes at a small cost and the concierge offers a full service with luggage store, laundry service also possible are local excursions and Tours, the front desk is 24 hours. Massage facilities are also possible and are arranged by appointment.

Food, Beverage & Entertainment Facilities: Beach Café, each day serving lunches, cold drinks, tea and coffee, the catering team are enhanced by a highly experienced Chef providing 3 sumptuous full buffet meals per day, there is an unlimited 24 hour Tea and Coffee service and for those who like to enjoy their Apres diving with a drink there Full bar service on site inside and a pool bar outside, close by there is a Shisha Corner by the Camp Fire.

Transfers: The resort is around an hour’s drive from Marsa Alam airport, and around a 3-to-3.5-hour drive from Hurghada airport. Return airport transfers are always included in our packages.

The guest rooms at Roots Red Sea are designed to suit all visitors, from the basic Eco Hut with the minimum of private facilities; through to the Deluxe Chalets on the hillside offering a modest size room with all the home comforts including en suite toilet and shower, independent air conditioning and heating ; to the stone built Boutique Rooms at the top the camp offering family sized rooms with full facilities.

Pharoah Dive Club based at the award winning Roots Resort, is a well-run and internationally well-known dive centre. The English / Egyptian team are highly qualified, professional and attentive and will ensure that every diver has the safest and memorable stay.

For a long time El Quseir has been overlooked by divers in favour of the more popular resorts further north, however the pristine sites which surround this area offer unique and varied diving close to the shore. The Reefs are uncrowded and make the diving experience all the more enjoyable. Pharoah Dive centre with the use of a Hard Day boat will also organise dive excursions to the further offshore dive sites including Elphinstone Reef and further north the Wreck of the Salem Express. Explore the numerous, pristine coral gardens, off shore ergs, pinnacles and sea grass meadows plus extensive cavern systems. Here you will find a large diversity of marine life including moray, blue spotted stingrays, lion fish, porcupine fish, crocodile fish, squirrel fish, sea snakes as well as large pelagics and occasionally white tip or guitar shark.

A typical day will be a 2 tank dive with tanks and weights included.

House Reef Dives, RIB dives and Hard (day) boat dives are available at the resort.

Unlimited house reef diving – like taking your time rather than be guided? Taking underwater photos? Choose this option, but remember to take your buddy too!
Dive courses are available, with the added comfort of being able to do training dives directly off the resort’s beach.
