Yap - western Pacific dive holidays
Manta Ray Bay Resort & Yap Divers
A dedicated dive resort with an underwater theme.
Operated by Yap Divers, the dive centre is located right next to the resort. All diving takes place from one of their eight fast dive boats with an optional lunch service onboard. Full equipment hire available, secure camera bays, rinse tanks and freshwater shower. Up to five dives a day are planned. Experienced Divemasters accompany each dive, which are preceded by a full briefing.
There are 35 rooms split into categories; standard, ocean view, deluxe ocean view and suites. Meals are served in the Manta Ray Restaurant on-board the S/V Mnuw; the resort’s own South Sea schooner. Here you can enjoy a drink in the Nautical Weaver Bar or the Crow’s Nest Bar, complete with a film show of the local diving. For relaxation (more of it!) there is a spa where you can treat yourself to a massage, speciality treatments or a stone bath.
All are air-conditioned with TV and DVD player, fridges, internet and tea & coffee facilities. Standard rooms have views of the hills, ocean view rooms of the lagoon, deluxe rooms and suites have views of the ocean as well as private patios; some also have private plunge pools and rooftop Jacuzzis.

Diving Truk is something of a big wish for lots of divers. It takes a bit of planning and high-end coordination. Which is why the Diverse Travel team found it so pleasing when guest, John Hannah, sent them this warming feedback from his recent trip there.
