Kao Lak Palm Garden
The Palm Garden Resort Khao Lak is located in Khao Lak, amidst a beautiful tropical garden on the west coast of Thailand’s mainland.
Hidden in a tranquil, tropical oasis just outside the centre of Khao Lak, the quiet location and laid back atmosphere will allow you to relax and recharge after an exciting day exploring the reefs of the Similan or Surin Islands, or the beautiful countryside around Khao Lak.
The region is bordered in the south by the Khao Lak National Park and the famous Khao Sok National Park in the north. Khao Lak is the ideal starting point for day trips to the Similan Islands, or a liveaboard trip to Richelieu Rock, Koh Tachai and Koh Bon.
Transfers: around 1 hour from Phuket Airport
Hotel Services/Facilities: The pool area at the centre of the resort is not only an ideal place to spend some time sunbathing, but is also great for those who are learning to dive. With a maximum depth of 3 metres, it is an ideal place to learn the skills that you need to dive.
At Reception guests can book tours, rent vehicles, or get some useful local tips from English speaking staff. The Resort offers traditional Thai massage, aroma massage and other spa treatments in your room, or at the spacious sala in the tropical palm garden.
Room Facilities: The Thai style bungalows of the Palm Garden Resort are built around a large, 3m deep scuba training pool.
The bungalows consist of two separate, spacious rooms. Each bungalow has its own terrace and is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
The bungalows are comfortably furnished for the needs of divers with air conditioning, TV, wireless internet connection, minibar, safe, charging station and en-suite bathroom with hot water shower.
All bungalows have either a double bed or two single beds. The private terrace is a peaceful place to enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun.
Seabees Dive Centre is a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre, catering for beginners and experienced divers alike.
The dive centre is on-site at the Palm Garden Resort with day boats departing from Tap Lamu. Whether you’re a diver or snokeller, you’ll be ideally placed to discover the fascinating underwater world in the Similan Islands.
