Sands Apartments
A comfortable base for your holiday, just 100m from the dive centre.
Situated on a quiet street off the main road, these well appointed apartments are within walking distance of Maltaqua dive centre, shops, restaurants, banks and St. Paul’s Bay promenade.
A lift gives access to the upper floors but there is no need to carry dive gear as there is a spacious wet room in the basement to wash and store equipment. There is free WiFi in the building.
Those wanting to hire a car, street parking is available outside the complex or nearby. Regular buses run from Bugibba bus station to the most popular places of interest and to sandy beaches all over the island of Malta.
Hotel Services/Facilities: Set in a perfect location, just 100 metres from Maltaqua dive centre and a 5-minute walk to St Paul’s Bay promenade. Modern apartments, with a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge, bedroom(s) and en-suite bathrooms with a shower. Air-conditioning is available (€5 credit free, chargeable thereafter). Towels are provided and changed every other day. Cable TV is available but not in all apartments (local charge). Washing and storage facilities are provided in the basement for your dive gear.
Food, Beverage & Entertainment Facilities: Self-catering apartments.
Sands Apartments offers 4 x 2-bedroom apartments, 1 x 1 bedroom apartment, plus 1 x 3-bedroom Penthouse apartment. Each apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen area, lounge and en-suite bathroom with toilet and shower. All rooms are fitted with metered AC units. On arrival each apartment has a welcome breakfast pack and a credit of €5 worth of air-conditioning. Towels are changed every other day; a change of linen mid stay for stays over seven days. Some are fitted with cable TV with a charge of €15 per week.
One bedroom apartments are ideal for couples or single travellers, while the large two bedroom apartments are perfect for a family or group of four. A spacious top floor penthouse apartment offers three large bedrooms and comfortably accommodates six people.
Maltaqua Dive Centre is a PADI 5 star Instructor Development and Technical Diving Centre with over 40 years’ diving experience on Malta. They offer a full range of PADI and BSAC training courses, from Open Water to Instructor level.
