Bonaire’s first watersports lifestyle hotel!
Located just north of the capital, Kralendijk, Buddy Dive is a well-known and popular resort situated directly on the waterfront with steps down to the sea.
Buddy Dive’s seven buildings house studios and apartments that offer great value for money, no matter if you are travelling with your partner, as a family, with friends or a whole dive group.
Divers will appreciate easy 24-hour access to the excellent house reef, whilst the dive centre is conveniently located on-site.
Buddy Dive Resort has been in operation for over 40 years and has been pivotal in conservation efforts throughout Bonaire through its Reef Renewal Foundation. It has also grown to become the largest technical diving facility in the Caribbean.
Hotel Services/Facilities: Fully equipped dive shop and activity centre on site and two swimming pools. The capital of Kralendijk is a 30 minute-walk away or less than 10 minutes’ drive.
Food, Beverage & Entertainment Facilities: Breakfast is served above the dive centre overlooking the sea. A la carte lunch is served daily in Blennies Restaurant on the sea front. Dinner is a la carte at Blennies Restaurant or the gourmet restaurant ‘Ingridiënts.’
Transfers: From Bonaire Airport to Buddy Dive Resort by road with an approximate transfer time of 10 minutes.
73 studios and two or three-bedroom apartments with sea, pool or garden views.
Studios have a bedroom with ensuite shower, TV, kitchenette, fridge and small patio overlooking the garden.
Apartments are open plan with spacious living areas, ensuite shower, kitchen, TVs, a patio or balcony.
Buddy Dive Centre is a 5 Star PADI Career Development Centre, catering to all levels / courses available / unlimited shore diving and daily boat diving for qualified divers.
Nitrox fills and technical equipment rental are available locally.
Boats depart the dock 3 times a day to explore sites not accessible from shore. The unique 2 lane ‘Drive Thru’ filling station makes it easy for divers to stock up on tanks (2 tanks per person per time).
Drive and Dive packages (including car rental) are a popular way to see everything that the island of Bonaire has to offer above and below the water.
