Diverse Travel is recruiting! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Senior Sales Executive to join our successful team. This permanent position is ideally suited to someone who is a self-starter and able to work from home.
As part of our small sales team, you will work closely with other colleagues to put together complex itineraries and quotes for both individual and group travellers. You will also coordinate with our admin team to provide a top-drawer customer service throughout all elements of the client’s holiday.
Key Responsibilities
- Liasing with clients by phone, email and sometimes in person
- Generating sales leads, building itineraries and quotes, and following up with clients to refine itineraries
- Updating client and product information on our system
- Liaising with admin department to ensure all aspects of the booking process are completed
- Emergency phone cover on a rota basis as required
Requirements
- Sales experience in an ATOL-bonded Scuba Diving Tour Operator (group sales experience preferred)
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Outgoing, flexible and friendly attitude
Working Hours and Location
- Full-time, remote working: Mon-Thurs 9am-5.30pm, Fri 9am-5pm and one in three Sat 9am-1pm
- Working in office (East Anglia) required for two days per month (travel expenses will be paid)
- Attending up to two dive shows per year – UK + Ireland (travel expenses will be paid)
