Hotel Services/Facilities: The Oasis Dive Resort offers half board accommodation in individually styled chalets, all with terrace and views of the sea and has a large swimming pool with sun loungers.

The main building houses a small bazaar and the dive centre; there is a safe available on reception for guest use. There are no TVs, radios or telephones to disturb the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere at the Oasis Dive Resort. Leisure facilities include volley ball and a pre-bookable massage service, excursions are also available.

Food, Beverage & Entertainment Facilities: The Oasis is offered on a half board basis.

The restaurant has a large roof top terrace with fantastic views across the resort and the sea. There is a Bedouin style bar area on the beach.

Transfers: Located 3 hours from Hurghada Airport or 25 minutes’ drive from Marsa Alam airport.

The Oasis has 50 individually styled chalets in two room categories: Standard Chalet and Deluxe Chalet. The deluxe rooms are larger, closer to the beach with a breath-taking view of the Red Sea and include tea and coffee making facilities.

Each chalet is spacious and individually decorated in a different style. The well thought out and tastefully decorated rooms host unusual furnishings with great attention to detail.

All chalets consist of a main bedroom and a spacious bathroom with shower (except for Chalet 23 ‘the red one’, which has a bath) and mini bar. The rooms are kept cool due to the natural building style of the Nubians, but chalets also have ceiling fans and air conditioning. with the best available views.

Twin or double rooms are available. Solar panels heat the water for the bathrooms. All rooms are equipped with 220 volt sockets.

The resort is not suitable for children below the age of 8.

The Oasis Diving Centre is on-site and is a joint project between Werner Lau and Sinai Divers, two of the best known names in the Red Sea and therefore are able to offer our customers the highest standard in service, professionalism and fun while diving.

The Oasis offers shore diving on the house reef, by jeep or by zodiac and boat diving – everything is catered for and there is a choice of over 30 different dive sites from land and boat.

The beautiful house reef (fringing reef) is right in front of the hotel and can be accessed from the jetty. Diving or snorkelling is available from 6am to 8pm. Starting from the jetty, you can dive to the north or to the south. It is a gently sloping reef coming to a drop- off into deep water.

Morning and afternoon dive trips by jeep / bus are offered to shore diving spots around “The Oasis” (each including one dive). The traveling time is between 5 minutes to a half hour. A “Super- Day” a full day trip is also available, heading South to the wreck “Hamada”, with three dives.

Highlights such Samadai Reef (Dolphin house), Shab Marsa Alam, and the Elphinstone Reef are dived regularly by boat or Zodiac.

One of the world’s best dive sites, Elphinstone Reef can be reached in 20 Minutes by Zodiac. Longimanus (Oceanic), hammerheads and tiger sharks glide past the drop off.

Boxes are provided for stowing the equipment (rental or your own). The rinse pool and the dry room are conveniently located next to the diving centre. Both 12 litre and 15 litre tanks are available and Nitrox is free of charge, if Nitrox qualified.
