Pisces Divers - Seven Gill sharks, seals, wreck, reef and pelagic shark divingCape Town, South Africa
Our preferred partner for scuba diving is the professional, friendly and full service Pisces Divers in Simon’s Town only 50m from the beach. There is a coffee and snack shop and their rental equipment is top quality and regularly serviced. Nitrox is available to suitably qualified divers.
The most popular dives offered are exploring the mystical kelp forests looking for Seven Gill Cow sharks and playful seals, as well as the local wreck and reef dives and the adventurous ‘big blue’ pelagic shark dives.
Pisces Divers provide full equipment with all their diving excursions (except cameras and computers), which is especially helpful in travelling lightweight, without heavy and thick wetsuits required for the Cape waters.
Quayside Hotel, Simon’s Town
This 4-star waterfront hotel is uniquely situated on the edge of the Simon’s Town yacht basin and has incredible views over False Bay and the Simonkloof mountains.
Simon’s Town is an historic village. The main St Georges Street is the coastal road running through the town framed by quaint shops, restaurants, pubs and colonial buildings, all within easy walking distance of the centrally located Quayside Hotel.
Rooms are modern, plush, comfortable and with a nautical theme with mountain and sea views. All are ensuite, with air-con, satellite TVs, mini-bar, tea/coffee and WiFi.
Breakfasts are served overlooking the ocean from the Upper Deck Restaurant.
Due to its prime location, the Quayside Hotel is the perfect base from which to explore the area. Our preferred Great White Shark cage diving operator is on site, our preferred scuba dive centre is a few minutes up the road and the largest penguin colony a few minutes stroll down to Boulders Beach.
