MV Emperor Atoll

Emperor Atoll, Maldives

This popular  liveaboard and her crew give a personalised welcome to small groups of no more than 12 guests. Built to high, comfortable standards she measures 26 metres and accommodates guests in 6 twin-berth cabins, all with air-conditioning and private bathrooms.

On the main deck is a large saloon with four separate seating and table areas as well as a 38″ LCD flat screen TV with multi-system home theatre surround sound. For underwater video and photography enthusiasts, there are plenty of recharging points/edit playback facilities. Free WiFi is on board when in range of a signal. Our DVD and book library includes an interesting selection of marine life material.

Emperor Atoll is fully licensed to sell soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits. Complimentary tea, coffee and drinking water are available throughout the day. In good weather, we can enjoy meals at the open foredeck table with wonderful views of the archipelago. The food is renowned for its excellent quality with an impressive variety of both local and European dishes. If guests are vegetarian, or have special dietary needs, we will do our best to cater for them so be sure to tell us in advance. Breakfast and lunch are usually buffet style and dinner is generally served seated around the large table on the foredeck.

From the aft deck, steps lead up to the large, partially shaded sun deck above the main saloon where there are comfortable sun loungers and bed mats. The perfect place to enjoy a sundowner and discuss the day’s diving. On the aft deck is a large swim platform with ladder giving easy access to the water. There are fresh water showers and camera wash tanks.

Dive sites are reached direct from the boat or by an accompanying dhoni. Emperor Atoll is managed by a highly professional Cruise Director who is a fully qualified dive instructor with many years of liveaboard experience and who plans and guides the diving programme to ensure you visit the very best dive sites.

A full dive briefing is given before each dive so you can appreciate the wealth of undersea species and have a good chance of encounters with some of the more elusive and migratory inhabitants of the region.

Emperor Atoll is rebreather-friendly. She also offers free NITROX.
