Sharm el Sheikh Dive Resort has much to offer the diver and non-diver; a wide choice of activities, hotels, shops, bars and restaurants set in a cosmopolitan atmosphere. And then there are the world class dive sites.
Sharm El Sheikh lies at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula. With a range of hotels to suit every taste and budget, this vibrant resort is a favourite with couples, families and groups who love to sun worship and dive the famous local sites.
An abundance of hard and soft corals, coupled with amazing marine life encounters on the local reefs await divers of all levels. Ras Mohamed National Park, Tiran and the wrecks of SS Thistlegorm and the Dunraven are all within easy reach.
PADI dive courses are available with training directly off the resort’s beach. Sharm is a great place to learn to dive or further your dive qualification.
Dive Centre
Emperor Divers, a PADI/SSI Centre and BSAC Travel Partner, is a reputable dive operator established in 1992 it has a reputation for combining a highly professional, safe and organised service with a warm welcome, friendliness and a sense of fun.
One of the main attractions as a dive holiday destination is the different types of diving on offer nearby; from shallow coral bays, gorgonian forests to drift diving at Jackson Reef and a choice of special trips to dive the Thistlegorm and the Dunraven wrecks. This is also a great dive holiday destination for both learners and experienced divers with a highly knowledgeable team of dive instructors and dive guides.
Emperor Divers also offer a range of options for non-divers, including children. Choose from sun-bathing on a dive boat, a free Try Dive, or the ever popular Oceans Day Trip with instructed snorkelling. (All trips can be booked and paid for locally. Trips on dive boats are space dependent.)
Après Dive
If you want to be at the centre of the action, Naama Bay is the place to stay with a great choice of shops, bars, cafés, and restaurants.
Shop till you drop in the myriad of old souks and shops that abound with colour, light and energy.
Flights & Transfers
Sharm el Sheikh has several weekly UK flights. Flight time from the UK is approximately 5 hours. Transfer time from Sharm el Sheikh Airport to your hotel is about 20 minutes.
Emperor Divers, our chosen dive centre, is located at the Marina Sharm Hotel in Naama Bay, a short walk to the jetty where boats leave for Tiran and Ras Mohamed. Should you choose another hotel in Sharm el Sheikh Emperor Divers offers free transfers.
